Cafe chain Gloria Jean’s has launched a range of iced chiller drinks in partnership with cookie brand Oreo.
Gloria Jean’s has sold some 7.7 million chillers since first launching the concept two years ago, making it one of the most popular beverages on the company’s menu.
Now it is partnering with the popular FMCG brand to add a Cookies & Cream-inspired range, including Original Chiller made with Oreo, Salted Caramel Chiller made with Oreo, and Mint Chiller made with Oreo.
The chiller, a blended ice drink similar to a milkshake, was a staple beverage of teenagers growing up in the mid 90s and early noughties. Gloria Jeans decided to introduce the concept to a new generation as an alternative to its staple coffee offer.
“Our customers who grew up loving our signature chillers are in for a real treat, and we are eager to also bring the flavour experience to a new generation,” said Kate McGrath, Gloria Jean’s head of marketing.
