BuyNatural to launch chain of ‘experiential retail stores’

Dr Mathew McDougall, founder and CEO, BuyNatural in the new TLO store.

Online store BuyNatural has opened what it calls an experiential outlet, TLO in Woy Woy, NSW.

It is the first TLO store – which stands for Touch, Learn & Order and the company plans to roll out more during the next 12 – 24 months in Australia.

TLO offers a wide range of Australian owned and locally made natural and organic products. The store offers video streaming and testing areas where shoppers can test out the products so they can learn about its ingredients and the creators of each product.

“Australian small to medium size businesses actually produce some of the highest quality natural and organic products in the world, but because they are not stocked on large retailer shelves, little is known about them,” said Dr Mathew McDougall, founder and CEO, BuyNatural.

He said the TLO concept as a learning, experiencing and purchasing hub for shoppers who prefer organic and environmentally-friendly products.

“In addition to offering consumers the ability to experience the products in person, we will also conduct interactive information sessions on our range of natural and organic products.  Not only will shoppers be able to purchase on-site, they will be able to order in bulk and have the items delivered to their door.

“For those ordering online through our website, they will be able to click and collect as well,” he added.
