White Glo unveils vegan toothpaste tablets

(Source: Supplied)

Australian oral-care company White Glo has launched a vegan tablet toothpaste formula that comes in zero-waste packaging.

The brand worked with Australian celebrity dentist Aodhan Docherty to create the Bite & Brush tablets formula which contains White Glo’s trade-marked 5x Whiter Technologies. The proprietary blend includes natural enzymes with fluoride for oral protection.

Consumers need only place one tablet in their mouth, chew it and brush with a wet toothbrush. The tablets are packed in recyclable plastic-free containers of 60, sufficient for a month.

The brand plans to become Australia’s most sustainable oral care brand by 2024 by transforming the toothpaste tube and packaging to 100-per-cent biodegradable materials.

The packs retail for $11.99 and are stocked at Coles and on White Glo’s website.
