Polka has expanded its non-alcoholic beverage range to include three new drinks: Sparkling Cuvee with wild harvested native Lilly Pilly, Sparkling Rose made from the native botanical Davidson Plum, Blood Orange Italian Aperitif and a Pink Grapefruit Botanical Spirit.
Made in South Australia’s wine region, the company’s drinks are also gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and low in calories.
The brand was launched in 2021 by husband and wife Ben and Emma Mellows, who said they wanted to create an elevated brand of drinks that offers more complex and nuanced flavours. To achieve this, they teamed up with high-profile SA winemakers and brewers to create a range of non-alcoholic beverages with the same characteristics as their full-strength counterparts.
“Like any food or beverage product, a key driver of the de-alc uptake is taste,” explained Ben.
“By first making wine or spirits in traditional methods, then extracting the alcohol, we can give people products they will truly enjoy on every occasion.”
Polka is available for purchase online or through various bottle shops, premium grocery stores, and on-premise venues across Australia.
