Accolade Wines CEO Robert Foye has departed the company after deciding to permanently return to Texas, the Australian Financial Review (AFR) has reported.
“With the Pernod Ricard Wines merger announced, Robert has decided that now is an appropriate time to focus on the next stage of his career and to relocate permanently back to Texas to spend more time with his family,” the Accolade Wines board told staff.
The Bain Capital-led wine producer said in mid-July that it agreed to acquire Jacob’s Creek and other brands from Pernod Ricard.
Foye’s departure comes after serving Accolade Wines for over four years, starting his career at the company as COO in March 2020.
The company has appointed chairman Ben Clarke as executive chairman, effective September 2, to “lead the business through the next phase of its evolution”.
