Synlait Milk CEO Grant Watson has resigned after being in the position since January 2022.
“Recent months have seen a long list of urgent challenges for Synlait, and Grant’s ably led the team through them,” said George Adams, Synlait chair.
“Grant will take a well-deserved break before deciding his next career move,” Adams added.
The company has appointed Dairyworks CEO Tim Carter as acting CEO as the board commences a global recruitment process.
Dairyworks CFO Aaron Kenny will act as Dairyworks CEO in the interim.
