Australian confectionery company Darrell Lea has introduced its new Chewy Choc range, which includes three new products featuring smooth milk chocolate with soft, squishy choc-flavoured centres.

After 100 years of creating its classic black and raspberry liquorice, the company has begun producing chocolate liquorice.

The range includes the new Darrell Lea Milk Chocolate Chewy Choc Block – chewy pieces of cacao powder coated in milk chocolate, the Twists Milk Chocolate Chewy Choc – which are twists with a soft chocolate centre, and the bite-sized Chewy Choc Milk Chocolate Bullets.

“The Chewy Choc range is all about taking our passion for chocolate and pushing it in a new, playful direction,” said CEO James Ajaka.

“We’re always looking for ways to surprise our fans with products that are not only delicious, but also memorable.

“These chewy, chocolatey creations are fun, feel-good, and something truly unique in the market. That’s what ‘making it better’ means to us,” he said.

Darrell Lea’s range of confectionery is Australian-made, with 100 per cent sustainably sourced cocoa, and is entirely free of palm oil.
