Darrell Lea has expanded its product catalogue with three new chocolate formats and flavour variations.

The company says its rollout modifies several of the brand’s traditional items to capture contemporary consumer and social media trends.

Among the changes is an update to the 1935 rocky-road recipe, which has been converted from a standard bar format into a shareable bag of smaller, bite-sized pieces known as Rocklea Road Bites with an RRP of $6.

The company is also introducing a limited-edition product line, Strawberry Matcha Balls (RRP $6), which features a chewy strawberry centre wrapped in milk chocolate and finished with a matcha-flavoured outer shell.

In addition, the manufacturer collaborated with beverage brand H2Coco to develop the Coconut Rough with Cookies Block (RRP $7), blending toasted coconut, cookie fragments, and milk chocolate.

The products are scheduled to hit major retailers nationwide this month.
