Danish butter brand Lurpak has rolled out its first plant-based spread in Australia, combining its signature creamy texture with a fresh, dairy-free formulation.
The new product is certified vegan and can be used straight from the fridge.
Thomas Smith, spokesperson for Lurpak, says the new product offers an alternative for consumers who want to elevate their meals without compromising on taste.
“Whatever you think about plant-based, think again,” said Smith.
“Genuine excellence and mouth-watering flavour doesn’t just come out of nowhere, and Lurpak has had an uncompromising approach to making real, quality products since 1901.”
Lurpak plant-based is available in a 400g tub for an RRP of $8.20 in Woolworths and IGA supermarkets nationwide.
