Jatcorp CEO Sunny Liang has resigned from his role and from the board with immediate effect.
Company secretary Oliver Carton said executive director Dr Sean Li will step into the CEO role while a permanent replacement is recruited.
Liang has agreed to remain with the company during his three-month notice period to assist with the transition process to a new CEO.
“The company sincerely thanks Mr Liang for his leadership of Jatcorp, and [the] strengthening of it during his time at the company,” Jatcorp said in a stock exchange filing.
In July, Jatcorp reported a significant increase in sales for the fourth quarter, mainly thanks to the record results of its Moroka brand during the 618 Shopping Festival in China.
Revenue at the health and wellness consumer goods company reached $11.5 million in the quarter ended June 30, up 76 per cent from the third quarter.
