Coles 360 has appointed Tiffany Chen as GM, marking what it is positioning as a new era for Coles Group’s retail media business.
Michael Courtney, Coles’ chief customer experience officer, said the appointment comes as Coles 360 enters its next phase of development, with Chen’s experience in retail media expected to shape the business’s direction.
He said Chen brings international experience and an understanding of Coles and the Australian retail media market. This positions her to lead the next phase of the business and support outcomes for Coles 360’s supplier partners from this year on.
“Our vision for Coles 360 is clear. We want to set the benchmark for retail media performance in Australia,” Courtney said.
“Tiffany’s leadership, combined with the momentum already in place, will be key to taking our network to the next level.”
Chen joins Coles 360 as the business undertakes a series of improvements, including enhanced reporting and measurement, scalable performance capabilities and the development of advertising offerings.
Before joining Coles 360, Chen spent nearly a decade at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. She was a founding member of the firm’s Retail Media Network practice, supporting businesses in building and scaling their retail media networks globally.
Chen said Coles 360 is well-positioned to create new opportunities for partners and provide more effective ways to connect with customers as the new year begins.
“I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundations already in place and helping shape the next chapter of retail media innovation,” she said.
Coles 360 continues to contribute to Coles Group’s growth, delivering measurable brand and performance outcomes for supplier partners. Coles Group has recently reported other developments, including ACCC approval to acquire site leases.
