Kalfresh has introduced a new prepped vegetable product, ‘Sweet Corn Ribs’, to help increase national vegetable consumption.

Designed to compete with takeaway food options in both flavour and preparation speed, the Sweet Corn Ribs are suitable for various cooking methods, including grilling, air-frying, microwaving, or baking.

The product is currently available at Drakes supermarkets in Queensland, with plans for a wider release in other retail outlets.

“One of the ways to increase consumption is to offer a product that competes with take-away options on flavour and speed,” said Richard Gorman, Kalfresh CEO.

“Because we grow, wash and pack the fresh vegetables, we can achieve superior results because we chill and cut crops soon after harvest, which locks in flavour and freshness,” said Gorman.
