Fussy Cat, Real Pet Food Company’s portfolio brand, is expanding its dry cat food lineup with the launch of Fussy Cat Dental Defence Ocean Fish, a grain-free dry food specifically designed to support feline oral health.
Fussy Cat Dental Defence Ocean Fish dry food features a kibble shape that encourages chewing, helping to reduce plaque and tartar buildup on teeth.
Formulated with Australian-sourced ocean fish, the recipe includes calcium to strengthen bones and teeth, while using natural parsley to help control bad breath. An added dental agent further enhances the food’s effectiveness.
Fussy Cat brand manager Gracey Davey said the product addresses the practical challenges pet owners face when maintaining feline oral hygiene, such as brushing. Incorporating functional dental ingredients into standard daily meals offers a direct alternative to separate cleaning routines.
The dry food will be available in 2.2kg packages at a recommended retail price of $26.50 in Woolworths stores nationwide starting September 15, and will be rolled out in Coles in late October.
“Cat owners want to support their cat’s dental health, but brushing and other forms of dental care are not always easy to incorporate into their daily routine,” said Davey.
