The rollout is the result of 50 store trial with the US retailer in Texas in September last year, which was then extended in March 2015 to 1500 Walmart stores across the country.
Walmart is the largest company in the world by revenue and the largest grocery retailer in the US.
Each week, more than 140 million customers visit Walmart’s more than 4300 stores, with the retailer reporting $288 billion in sales in fiscal year 2015.
Earlier this year in April the Yowie Group also completed a 12 store trial in a tier 1 grocery chain in Dubai.
The Middle East is emerging as one of the fastest growing chocolate markets across the globe, with it expected to see compound annual growth of around six per cent from 2014 to 2019, while the global chocolate market is expected to grow at just 2.3 per cent over the same period.
