Bundaberg boosts its brand

bundabergBundaberg Distilling Company has announced plans to invest in an interactive visitor’s centre at the company’s flagship distillery in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Slated for completion in July 2016, the multimillion-dollar project aims to transform the physical customer experience with the integration of interactive self-guided tours, as well as providing visitors with the opportunity to create their own take-home premium blend.

Spread across two repurposed bond stores, the construction will help be brought to fruition with the creative vision of Brisbane-based food facilities designer, Wiley.

According to Wiley’s marketing director, Claire Mitchell, the value of the new project lies in the fact that brand loyalty is increasingly relying on innovative and immersive customer experiences.

“Retail is no longer just about the product. We are finding a number of our clients are exploring how they can transform traditional customer experiences through integrating innovative design and next generation technology,” Mitchell said.

The development aims to attract more visitors to the distillery which already sees around 60,000 domestic and international visitors a year.
