Montague announces surprise tasting of JAZZ apples

Jazz Montague ApplesMontague has announced surprise tastings of JAZZ apples across Australia’s train stations coinciding with its celebration of the fruit grower’s tenth anniversary harvest.

15 million kilos of this fruit variety was seen this season. Benefiting from the unseasonably generous rainfall and optimal summer conditions, the JAZZ apples are especially juicy with a sweet yet tangy taste.

Montague’s JAZZ apples now have over 580,000 trees carefully nurtured by licensed growers in 29 leading Australian orchards –  Batlow (NSW), Tamar & Huon Valley (TAS), Adelaide Hills (SA), Stanthorpe (QLD), Manjimup (WA), and Southern Victoria.

Following successful sell out seasons, dedication of the Montague network of growers to produce a high-quality apple variety has proven to be a favourite amongst consumers since its introduction into the market in 2009.

JAZZ apples blush a pink/red skin with juicy flesh. Due to its distinct crunch and compact size, ideal for snacking, the tenth anniversary harvest expects another successful sell-out season amongst enthusiasts.

Packed with fibre; low GI; vitamins B and C and potassium, these apples are the ideal companion to exercise, lunch boxes and mouthwatering recipes. Montague will continue to harvest the apple variety to pave way for producing high quality, innovative fresh fruit within Australia.

JAZZ apples are available in major supermarkets, independents and green grocers.
