Woolworths-anchored shopping centre opens

Woolworths Northwest SydneyA new Woolworths-anchored shopping centre has opened in Northwest Sydney.

North Kellyville Square’s 4,200sqm Woolworths supermarket includes a premium in-store butcher, bakery and sits alongside a well ranged BWS.

The 6,500sqm shopping centre is located in North Kellyville and features 19 new retailers ranging from fresh food, health and wellbeing to lifestyle stores, cafes and fast food.

Fred Porter, development manager of RG Property, said the centre had been tailored towards the local communities needs and was positioned to take advantage of the expected population growth in the region.

“Our research tells us that convenience is a significant factor in shopping centre choice,” Porter said. “To ensure convenience for customers the centre includes ample car spaces (336) across two levels, with undercover parking, and multiple access points.”

Porter said over the next 10 years there will be substantial growth population growth with approximately 28,000 new residents calling North Kellyville and the surrounding suburbs home. “We are pleased to be able to bring a new centre to the region that will meet the needs of these new homes,” he said.

“What’s really nice about this centre is that it has been designed with the intention of creating a place for locals to catch up with friends and grab a coffee or a bite to eat and pick up some groceries,” said Emma Goldring, local resident and centre manager.
