Children’s yoghurt recalled nationally

Tamar Valley KidsA children’s yoghurt product has been recalled nationally over fears the cap is a choking hazard.

Parmalat Australia has recalled 110g pouches of Tamar Valley Dairy Kids Yoghurt from retailers nation-wide due to faulty green-coloured caps.

“Consumers with the pouch products with the affected green mushroom style cap should return it to the place of purchase for a full cash refund,” a statement from the company said.

“Parmalat is greatly concerned by any risk to its consumers. This food safety recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our consumers as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and product quality at all times.”

The company said the product recall only affected the packaging and not the yoghurt itself. Consumers with questions about the recall can get in touch with their customer service team at 1800 676 961.
