Coca-Cola ventured into makeup
Soft drinks giant Coca-Cola has made a surprising move as it partnered with Korean makeup brand The Face Shop recently and created new unique cosmetics range.
It offered a wide selection of makeup with cushion compact, powder pact, five cream lip tints, five lipsticks, three gel lip tints and an eyeshadow palette – all in Coca-Cola pattern packages and even smells like the soft drinks. We’ll need to fly to get our hands on these new products.
Woolies whistleblowers came forward on pokies issue
Australian supermarket Woolworths and its subsidiary Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group (ALH) are still facing controversy with whistleblowers coming forward to talk about the poker machine issue.
AAP reported two whistleblowers went to federal Tasmanian MP Andrew Wilkie to tell about a woman named Queen Bee. Wilkie shared recorded interviews wherein the whistleblowers described how the company targeted gamblers.
Nestle competed with A2 Milk
Multinational giant Nestle has dented A2 Milk’s shares as it launched its own infant formula product, Illumna, using the A2 beta-casein protein. It is the same protein the dairy company is using on its milk products. Cows milk contains the A1 beta-casein protein and the A2 beta-casein protein. AAP also said A2 Milk shares were 72 cents, or 5.5 per cent, lower at $12.32 at 1252 AEDT, after going as low as $11.86.
Have a great holiday everyone!
