Kimberly-Clark’s U by Kotex partners with local charity

U by KotexFMCG giant Kimberly-Clark Australia’s U by Kotex brand has partnered recently with the local charity, Share the Dignity, who strive to bring dignity to the homeless, at-risk and those experiencing domestic violence, through the distribution of sanitary items to communities across Australia.

“At U By Kotex we’re passionate about championing women’s progress and we echo Share the Dignity’s belief that no woman should have to suffer the indignity of going without sanitary items at a time when she needs it the most, regardless of her socioeconomic or financial situation,” said Kimberly-Clark said in a statement.

“As such, we have joined forces in an official partnership with Share the Dignity to support their efforts to restore dignity to thousands of Australian women in need. This partnership will help us to get our products to remote Indigenous Communities where girls are missing school when they have their periods, homeless and domestic violence shelters and many others who for different reasons don’t have access to sanitary protection.”

Kimberly-Clark said U by Kotex looks forward to sharing further updates on the new partnership this year. In April, 5100 packs (worth $25K RRP) of U by Kotex sanitary pads were distributed to women in need throughout Australia as part of Share the Dignity’s #dignitydrive. U by Kotex is donating further products to Share the Dignity during their next drive in August and beyond.
