CCA partners with three Aussie scale-ups

Amatil X_Scale UpsCoca-Cola Amatil has announced a further three partnerships with Australian scale-ups through its Xcelerate program. Bellr, Snooper and Staybil are business with “ready-to-go ideas” to improve efficiency and experiences in the Australian market.

Pilots have been agreed with the companies as part of the second phase of the Xcelerate program, which is designed to combine emerging businesses with Amatil’s customer base and supply chain.

Adelaide company Bellr helps venues and brands in the hospitality industry to attract customers through promotions and tailored loyalty programs while Snooper is a crowd-sourcing platform for brands and retailers that collects in-store data and shares customer experiences with brands in real-time via an app.

Staybil uses existing but often under-utilised enterprise data to drive improvement, improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.

Group director of partners and growth at Amatil, Chris Sullivan, said Xcelerate is a great opportunity to support the start-up and scale-up sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

“We look for the best and brightest new talent in the areas of sustainable futures, customer experience and route-to-market. We then work together to build or grow their concepts into outcomes which delight our shared customers and deliver timely, creative solutions for business,” Sullivan said.

“Working with Bellr, Snooper and Staybil offers them the chance to pilot products and services in conjunction with an established business. And it gives us the opportunity to test ourselves on how we engage with the start-up community to quickly test new solutions.”

Xcelerate is one part of Amatil X, CCA’s corporate venturing platform, which was set up to find ways to support the business into the future. As part of the program, scale-ups have access to mentoring, a commercial partnership, and CCA’s new Small Supplier Payment Policy.

Snooper founder Laurie Wespes believes that the collaboration will help to shape the future of crowd-sourcing.

“Together, we are building a platform that will help the FMCG ecosystem improve in-store execution and deliver better shopper experiences in Australia and beyond. In only a couple of weeks, Amatil has scaled our solution across five product areas with some of our missions already delivering a 100 x return on investment,” Wespes said.
