Coca-Cola Amatil has appointed Caltex director Penelope Winn as an independent non-executive director to the Board.

“Penny has worked with some of Amatil’s largest and most innovative customers, and has a detailed understanding of the complexities of distribution and supply on a local and international scale,” said Amatil chairman Ilana Atlas.

She is currently a non-executive director of Caltex Australia Limited, CSR Limited, Goodman Limited and Goodman Funds Management Limited, and will step down as chair and non-executive director of Port Waratah Coal Services on December 12.

Winn has also held leadership role in retail businesses such as Woolworths, Myer Holdings, Asda UK and Big W.

Winn will take up the role from December 2.
