Nestlé teams up with Chicane to bring Easter Showbags to consumers

Chicane Showbags, a popular feature at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, has teamed up with confectionery giants to help consumers celebrate at home.

This year, while the Easter Show will not go ahead, Chicane is bringing showbags such as Nestlé’s Allen’s, Bertie Beetle, Milkybar and KitKat bags, to consumers online and through Woolworths stores.

The FMCG brands partnered with the showbag company on a ‘DIY guide’ to help parents recreate the Easter Show at home.

“We know that the show is something everyone looks forward to each year, and we ourselves have also been planning this for many months. While Aussies can’t physically go to the show, the good news is that they can bring the festivities indoors. Thanks to the ongoing partnership that we have with Nestlé and the Royal Easter Show, we can now deliver a few things to help make it happen,” director of Chicane Showbags, Emily Williams, said.

Ideas include teaching the household pups how to ‘sit pretty’ and give ‘heart-warming hugs’ for a special Sydney Royal Dog Show; a Young Farmer Challenge with kids doing household chores and the fastest dressed in cowboy hat or boots. There’s even advice for adults on how best to indulge in their very own Royal Beer & Cider Show.

The showbag collection will feature in 210 Woolworths stores in NSW. Woolworths is a major partner of the Sydney Royal Easter Show,

“While we know Easter will be different this year, many Australian families will still be looking for ways to celebrate. With familiar traditions more important than ever during this challenging time, we wanted to do something special for those that have been left disappointed by the Sydney Royal Easter Show’s cancellation. We are pleased our customers will still be able to purchase these showbags in our stores, and hope it can continue to bring a little bit of joy to family homes over the Easter weekend,” Woolworths NSW general manager, Michael Mackenzie said.
