Inghams CEO returns to the US, replacement named

Inghams has appointed Andrew Reeves as its new CEO and MD, as the former CEO returns to the US.

Reeves will succeed Jim Leighton, who left his role as CEO of Inghams to return to the US for personal reasons. Prior to the appointment, Reeves was working at Inghams as the company’s non-executive director.

“Ingham’s is fortunate to have someone of Andrew Reeves experience and calibre on our board and in a position to become our CEO,” said Peter Bush, chairman of Inghams.

“His great knowledge of Ingham’s will ensure a smooth transition and no loss of momentum in the business.”

Prior to Inghams, Reeves held several executive positions in the food and beverage sector in Australia and New Zealand.

Reeves’ most recent executive role was as CEO of George Weston Foods ANZ, a subsidiary of Associated British Goods. He also served as chair and deputy chair of the Australian Food & Grocery Council.
