Conscious chocolate brand Pana Organic adds nuts and fruits

Pana Organic is expanding its range with the launch of new chocolate products.

Featuring two flavours – Fruit & Nut and Macadamia & Mango – Pana Organic said the range is certified vegan, gluten-free and inside packaging that uses 90 per cent recycled FSC certified paper and 100 per cent vegetable-based inks.

The Fruit and Nut range is a mixture of Brazil nuts with light milk chocolate, while the Macadamia & Mango is a dark chocolate bar with macadamia pieces and mango chunks.

Pana Barbounis, founder of the company, said that he wanted to create a healthy chocolate bar sourced from ingredients from around the world and it would be a big change to consumers who are used to old-school chocolate.

“It was a big change to what consumers were used to. Now we are providing the next twist – revisiting those flavour combinations they have loved for years but putting our own unique Pana Organic stamp on it,” said Barbounis.

“Every time we create a new flavour there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. We ensure every flavour combination is balanced, smooth, satisfying and most importantly delicious.”

The new range is now available at independent grocers nationally with an RRP of $6.90 for a 45g block.
