Queensland food tech start-up Perkii has teamed up with low-calorie gelato brand Fit-Lato to launch Australia’s first probiotics gelato.
Probiotics are live bacteria that help colonise the gut leading to better health of the hosts.
Each tub is packed with 1 billion Perkii targeted-release probiotics micro-shielded to resist stomach acids as it moves through the gut.
The product is available in mint slice flavour and is low in calories. It is available for a limited time at selected Coles, Woolworths and IGA stores.
