Coles has recalled its own-brand Coles Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk in 1L cartons.
While labelled ‘dairy-free’ and ‘vegan’ it contains an undeclared allergen, milk. Consumers with milk intolerance or allergies are advised not to consume it.
The product was distributed by Coles’ Victoria distribution centre and sold across Coles supermarkets and online in Victoria as well as in a few stores in NSW, mainly in Lavington, Deniliquin and Albury.
The affected products have best-before dates up until March 31 2023 and have been available for purchase since April 5 this year.
Customers are encouraged to return the product to any Coles supermarket for a refund.
