Dare launches strongest iced coffee yet, recalls other products

(Source: Supplied)

Dare iced coffee has rolled out a new limited edition flavour, Dare Intense Espresso – at the same time as it recalls other products in the range as a precaution.

Dubbed the brand’s “strongest iced coffee” flavour, it blends both Robusta and Arabica coffee beans.

Sharon Winton, marketing director at Bega dairy and drinks, said the brand’s latest release will take the nation’s “Dare fix to the next level” as the country moves into daylight savings.

Dare Intense Espresso is available at Woolworths stores in Victoria, NSW, NT, SA, and Queensland.

Recall notice:

Meanwhile, multiple flavours in the Dare iced coffee range in 750ml bottles are recalled from independent stores including IGAs, Coles Express, cafes, bakeries and convenience outlets in Victoria and online. It was available for sale from September 20 to October 5.

The products are being recalled due to the potential presence of foreign matter such as plastic pieces which may cause illness or injury if consumed.
