Australian iced coffee brand, Dare, has expanded its Mocha range with the introduction of Dare Iced Coffee Protein Mocha.
Long known for its cocoa-forward profile, this protein boost is a mere functional upgrade that does not affect the original Dare mocha taste, following the success of Dare Protein Double Espresso in 2024.
Patrick Davis, marketing manager for Iced Coffee at Bega Group, said protein is driving huge growth in the functional beverage space. “So we asked the question: What happens when you take Australia’s favourite Dare flavour and make it the strongest version of itself?”
Available in 500ml and 750ml bottles, the launch ensures 30g and 45g of protein are delivered respectively, with no added sugar and its signature mocha taste remaining untouched. Dare is showing how mocha drinkers don’t need to switch flavours to “lift their game”.
“Mocha has always been a fan favourite. Giving it a high-protein lift lets it shine in a new way. With big flavour, no added sugar and a serious protein boost, Protein Mocha proves you don’t need to order a double espresso to make a strong choice,” he stressed.
Dare Iced Coffee Protein Mocha 500ml is now listed in Coles and select retailers, with its 750ml format soon to follow in May.
Dare has also been accelerating its ‘better for you’ expansion, expanding its protein range with new 2L Protein Double Espresso and 2L Low Fat bottles launching in Coles this month.
