Dairy company Bega Cheese has unveiled Cream Cheese products made from locally sourced milk.
The product can be used in baking and cooking recipes or is suitable as a spread for snacking. It is manufactured at Bega’s Port Melbourne and Strathmerton sites.
Niamh Farrell, Bega Cream Cheese’s marketing manager, said Bega Cream Cheese has been launched for Australians who love cream cheese, and who want to support locally owned and made brands
The Bega Cream Cheese can be found in Woolworths and independent stores and will be available in Coles from March 6.
It comes in two forms: spreadable sold in a tub and in block form for cooking.
