Panadol launches natural pain relief product, PanaNatra

Panadol manufacturer Haleon has developed a range of naturally derived pain treatment medicines, PanaNatra, containing plant-based actives to treat minor pain.

The company says the PanaNatra collection is the first natural-based pain management product to be launched globally by the manufacturer of Panadol – a brand sold in Australia for more than 60 years.

The PanaNatra collection is created for people seeking an original, natural-based product supported by research. PanaNatra offers three distinct products and formulas: PanaNatra Muscle Pain, PanaNatra Joint Pain, and PanaNatra Sleep & Pain.

“Consumer interest in naturally derived pain relief options has been rising over the years with nearly a third of Australians already treating pain with natural products and over half of Australians open to it – so we knew, as the makers of Panadol, that naturally derived pain relief was important to investigate,” said Elena Pintado, senior marketing manager of pain relief at Haleon.

“The Haleon research and development teams locally and globally explored 80 different formulations when developing the range to determine combinations of naturally derived ingredients, that are scientifically tested or traditionally used to help treat pain which would be relevant for Australian consumers who are looking for natural-based solutions for their pain.”

PanaNatra is available in supermarkets and pharmacies across the country in 30-tablet packs and in 50-tablet packs exclusive to Chemist Warehouse. A 30-tablet pack costs $14.99, and a 50-tablet pack $22.50.
