Nestle’s chocolate-flavoured malt powder brand Milo has unveiled two new products with added protein to help support muscle building and repair.
The Milo Pro Powder provides 15g of protein when consumed with milk while the Protein Snack Bars offer 6g of protein and are a source of fibre.
Nestle’s GM of dairy, Rebecca Dobbins, said both products offer nutritional benefits with Milo’s original malt chocolate taste and crunch.
“Protein can play an important role for many people, including teenagers and active Australians who have additional nutrition requirements.”
The Pro Powder retails for $15.50 for 700g and will be available from Woolworths, Coles and independent grocers later this month.
The Protein Snack Bars retail at $8 for 180g or six bars and will be available from Coles and independent grocers in June.
