Meal delivery service Lite n’ Easy has launched its first hybrid meals, designed to offer a quicker and easier version of traditional meal kits for people with busy schedules.
The Xpress Meal Kits are available in Pasta Bolognaise with Garlic Bread, Margherita Pizza, Classic Supreme Pizza, Chicken Schnitzel, and Butter Chicken with Naan Bread.
According to the company, the hybrid meal kits take only an average of 13 minutes of prep time compared to other kits – which take 30 minutes or longer – because most of the preparation will only require heating and assembling.
In addition, each kit includes 1.5 servings of vegetables, fibre, and a health star rating of 3.5 or above.
Ashleigh Jones, accredited dietitian for Lite n’ Easy, said the brand knows how busy people are, so the new range makes it easy for couples and families to get a healthy meal in less time than takeaway.
“Xpress Meal Kits are a healthier version of your takeaway favourites – they’re lighter on calories but packed full of flavour,” she added.
Lite n’ Easy Xpress Meal Kits are available for an RRP of $69.85 per kit which makes six meals.
