Confectionery company Darrell Lea is collaborating with coffee producer Campos Coffee to create a new chocolate product.
The companies partnered to come up with the new Darrell Lea Campos milk chocolate block, a mixture of Darrell Lea’s milk chocolate and Campos’ Superior coffee bean. It will be sold only in Woolworths stores nationwide with an RRP of $5.50.
“This block is a celebration of the harmonious blend of two local iconic flavours, decadent Darrell Lea chocolate and Campos’ original blend, and we’re thrilled to share it with fans,” said Lili Despotovic, senior marketing manager at Darrell Lea.
“Our coffee team worked closely with Darrell Lea to find the perfect blend of our coffees to complement their delicious chocolate,” said Adam Matheson, head of coffee at Campos.
As part of the product introduction, customers ordering coffee at the three flagship stores of Campos in NSW, Queensland, and Victoria will receive a complimentary Darell Lea Campos milk chocolate block for one week starting September 13, while supplies last.
The customers would need to say the phrase “Keep it on the DL” when ordering their coffee to receive the freebie. In addition to the chocolate block, they will also receive a $5 Woolworths voucher towards the product at any branch of the supermarket.
Each Campos flagship store has been given 500 chocolate blocks and vouchers for the giveaway.
