Goat’s milk infant formula producer Bubs Australia saw its US sales more than double in the previous quarter and expects further growth amid the progress on the US FDA permanent access pathway and its clinical trial.

The company reported a 161 per cent year-on-year increase in combined Amazon and brick-and-mortar sales in the US, reaching around $9 million, in the quarter ending February 25.

“Now that we are back in a full stock position our US team has increased our e-commerce marketing activities and our in-store activation with our major retail partners,” Bubs CEO and MD Reg Weine said.

“We are seeing the immediate benefits of our marketing efforts, demonstrated by the increased consumer offtake at store level and on the Amazon platform, where Bubs products are the fifth and sixth best-selling infant formula products in the category.”

Weine said that Bubs secured additional ranging in Walmart, Target and Kroger and along with strong consumer demand, this helps position the brand for sustained revenue growth in the US.
