PepsiCo Australia has extended its partnership with environmental not-for-profit Clean Up Australia after securing funding from the PepsiCo Foundation.

The collaboration is a two-year team engagement programme, with PepsiCo recognised as a Bronze Partner. The collaboration aims to encourage PepsiCo employees to come together, get out in nature, and enhance their local environment through Clean Up activities and education that fosters ongoing team and stakeholder engagement.

“As one of Australia’s largest snack manufacturers, we’re always seeking ways to invest in positive sustainable change,” said Brent Gapes, sustainability manager, ANZ at PepsiCo

“Clean Up Australia is one of Australia’s most recognised and trusted environmental charities and this is an incredible opportunity to inspire not only our PepsiCo network, but also the wider community to help make a difference.”

The programme will see PepsiCo employees participate in clean-up efforts across the country, totaling over 13,600 volunteer hours. Clean Up Australia will also hold a hybrid learning session hosted by its CEO, Jenny Geddes, to highlight the necessity of sustainable action and provide critical insights into Australia’s waste concerns.
