New Zealand-based beverage company AF Drinks (alcohol-free) has made distribution deals with American retail giants Target and Walmart, marking its expansion into the US market.
The brand’s product range includes five ready-to-drink non-alcoholic cocktails and a sparkling Rose, which will be introduced to consumers through a nationwide rollout.
One of its distinguishing features is Afterglow, a botanical heat extract that emulates the warming sensation of alcohol without any of the negative effects.
All AF beverages are made from natural ingredients, are vegan and gluten-free, and have low sugar and calorie content.
Lisa King, founder of AF Drinks, shared that the company’s growth has been “phenomenal” since launching last year through Sprouts and Amazon.
“Achieving distribution with such well-known retailers marks a huge milestone for AF, one unimaginable when the brand launched in New Zealand four years ago,” said King.
Aside from its Expansion, AF Drinks’ products will also be distributed by Pernod Ricard New Zealand, which boasts a portfolio of premium spirit-based RTDs from global icons like Jameson and Malibu.
