Chemist Warehouse has partnered with Pharmacycle to roll out a blister pack recycling initiative across 100 pharmacies in Victoria.
The initiative promotes responsible waste management with conveniently placed branded recycling bins near dispensary areas.
Launching during National Recycling Week, the program allows customers to dispose of empty blister packs responsibly.
Pharmacycle offers an end-to-end recycling solution, ensuring transparency and traceability in blister pack collection, logistics, and processing.
The company added that its recycling technology supports environmental sustainability and contributes to a circular economy by reintegrating recovered materials into the market.
Monthly collections will be handled by Pharmacycle.
