Top Shelf International has secured a nationwide ranging for its Act of Treason Australian agave from Endeavour Group’s BWS and Dan Murphy’s.
Under the agreement, Act of Treason will be stocked in all Dan Murphy’s outlets across Australia starting this month.
The product will also be stocked in select BWS stores aligned with consumer tequila/agave consumption.
“We have been overwhelmed by the response to Act of Treason since it was launched in January,” said Trent Fraser, Top Shelf CEO.
“This announcement, along with the recent gold medals in San Francisco and London, are significant milestones in our ambition to build an Australian agave category led by Act of Treason.”
The ranging deal complements the brand’s initiative to grow its presence in bars, clubs, hotels, and cafes in key strategic locations along the eastern seaboard in Sydney, Brisbane, Whitsundays and Melbourne.
Act of Treason has received gold medals at the three international spirits competitions in May and was named the World’s Best Speciality Spirit at the World Drinks Awards.
