Heaps Normal launches first core-range beer in over two years

Sydney-based no-alcohol beer brewer Heaps Normal is expanding its core range with the Third IPA, which took two years to develop.

Described as a typical West Coast style, the Third IPA joins Heaps Normal’s Quiet XPA, Another Lager, and Half Day Hazy.

According to the brand, the Third IPA has a piney and amber aroma and delivers a bitter, strong, and classic IPA flavour that stands out among the fruity crowd.

“This really hits the spot if the higher bitterness and resinous style of the classic West Coast IPA is your thing. A real oral ice bath,” said Heaps Normal’s co-founder and head brewer Ben Holdstock.

The Third IPA range is available at Coles Liquor stores nationwide as well as other retailers, including Blackhearts & Sparrows, Liquor Emporium, P&V and Bottle House, with a pack of four costing $16.99.

Earlier this year, Heaps Normal partnered with Who Gives A Crap to launch limited-edition non-alcoholic beer Cheeky India pale ale (IPA), with half of the proceeds from its sale used to build public toilets.
