The Campbell’s Company’s subsidiary Snack Factory has introduced Pop’ums, a new snack that blends popcorn and pretzels.

Available next month in 80,000 retailers across North America, the range comes in three flavours:  White Cheddar, Golden Mustard BBQ, and Sea Salt.

“Snack Factory forever changed snacking with the debut of Pretzel Crisps 20 years ago,” said Janda Lukin, SVP and chief marketing officer of Campbell’s Snacks.

“With Pop’ums, we are rethinking what a pretzel can be once again with a snacking experience unlike any other: combining the crunchy baked goodness of pretzels with the light, flavorful munchability of popcorn to create an irresistibly delicious snack.”

According to the company, the Pop’ums range is packaged in a resealable bag for convenient snacking at home or on the go.

The invention is Campbell’s latest product release, transforming a familiar snack into a new experience and the most significant for Snack Factory in 20 years – since the launch of Pretzel Crisps in 2004.

Down Under, Mars Wrigley Australia released Maltesers Popcorn in 2022, another world-first product, created at its $30-million Ballarat factory.
