The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) has reported a slight improvement in its top line in the last fiscal year, despite market volatility.

The company’s net sales for the year ended June 30 were US$84.3 billion, which were flat on a reported basis and up 2 per cent on an organic basis.

Higher pricing and organic volume contributed to the growth, while mix was unchanged versus the prior year, the firm noted.

Sales fell 2 per cent at beauty but increased 2 per cent at health care. The grooming, fabric and home care, and baby, feminine and family care divisions remained flat.

Operating income soared 10 per cent to $20.4 billion and net earnings rose 7 per cent to $16 billion.

For the fourth quarter, net sales grew 2 per cent on both a reported and an organic basis to $20.9 billion. Net earnings were up 15 per cent to $3.6 billion.

“We grew sales and profit in fiscal 2025 and returned high levels of cash to shareowners in a dynamic, difficult and volatile environment,” said Jon Moeller, chairman, president and CEO. “We’ve put in place strong plans to continue to deliver for all stakeholders in the current environment.”

For FY26, the company expects organic sales growth to be in the range of flat to up 4 per cent.

Last month, P&G appointed Shailesh Jejurikar as its new president and CEO, effective January.
