Vodka brand Haiver Spirits has launched its first brewed hard teas, marking the brand’s entry into the ready-to-drink category.
Haiver Spirits founder Matthew Anastassiou says the drink is lightly carbonated, while keeping its flavour.
“I’ve always loved iced tea and wanted to create a boozy version that was just as refreshing but with a crafted edge,”
Produced in Victoria with the company’s vacuum distillation techniques, Havier’s hard tea range is made with fresh fruits and features two flavours, including ‘Summer Peach’ and ‘Tropical’.
“Unlike what’s already available, instead of simply blending tea with spirits, I’ve brewed it on a beer base. This was an intentional move to give the product a silky, full-bodied mouthfeel that feels much closer to real iced tea – crisp and refreshing,” said Anastassiou.
Containing 4.5 per cent ABV, the range is available in 330ml cans, with an RRP starting at $26 per four-pack.
