Mondelez International is expanding its Oreo portfolio with the launch of Oreo Zero Sugar and Oreo Double Stuf Zero Sugar in the US, set for January.
This marks the first sugar-free Oreo offering in the US, following earlier launches in Europe and China.
The products aim to replicate the classic Oreo taste and texture while eliminating added sugar. According to FoodDive, Mondelez said the cookies are sweetened with a blend of sugar substitutes designed to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
The launch aligns with broader industry trends as FMCG companies respond to rising consumer interest in “better-for-you” snacking.
