Allan Hood has concluded his 10-year tenure as CEO of Bulla Dairy Foods, thanking the company for his time in the role.
Hood joined Bulla 12 years ago. Upon leaving, he said: “This milestone marks the end of a remarkable chapter in my life.
“Leading Bulla has been an honour and a privilege. Working alongside such a dedicated and talented team within one of Australia’s most esteemed family-owned dairy businesses has been immensely rewarding.
“Together, we have strengthened our performance, enhanced the Bulla brand, established a sizeable footprint in Australian dairy, navigated through challenging times, and positioned Bulla for a sustainable future.”
Founded in 1910, Bulla is one of Australia’s largest and oldest dairy companies. Under Hood’s leadership, the company passed $500 million in annual revenue, became the number-one selling ice cream brand in Australia, and began exporting to more than 20 countries across the world.
Hood, who said he is planning to embark on “the next chapter” of his career, thanked Bulla’s board, executive team, farmers and suppliers.
“Bulla has been more than just a workplace for me and my family, it was the very reason we moved to Australia over 12 years ago, a journey that has shaped their lives as well,” he added.
“Without their support and understanding none of this would have been possible.”
