Mars has reduced packaging by 10 per cent for its Pringles Minis line, aligning with the company’s broader commitment to material efficiency and reducing plastic waste.

The redesign is the result of a packaging review of both the primary bag and the outer polybag, which identified opportunities to eliminate excess space.

The company said that the product weight and food volume remain unchanged.

The initiative is projected to save approximately 30.7 metric tonnes of virgin plastic annually.

The updated Pringles Minis packs will be rolled out in major supermarkets nationwide from now on.

“Through a detailed review of our packaging, we found ways to remove excess space without changing what’s inside the pack,” said Ileana Andrei at Mars’ Salty Snacks.

“The result is a simpler design that is just as delicious, delivering the same iconic Pringles Minis, now with less plastic overall.”

Earlier, Pringles expanded its product range and tweaked its flavour.
