Belle Brands has acquired hair wellness brand Vegamour, adding the business to its growing portfolio of beauty labels.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Vegamour will join Belle Brands’ portfolio alongside brands such as JVN Hair, KVD Beauty, Versed, and Pipette. Belle Brands is backed by consumer-focused investment firm Windsong Global.
Belle Brands said the acquisition will give Vegamour additional resources across product development, marketing, operations and retail. The company plans to build on the brand’s existing distribution, including its relationship with Sephora.
“Belle Brands provides what a single business is often challenged to deliver alone,” said William Sweedler, chairman of Belle Brands, and CEO and managing partner of Windsong.
“Across our portfolio, this approach has reduced operating expenses to facilitate more investment in product development, retail partnerships, and consumer marketing. Vegamour is a natural fit for us.”
Founded in 2016, Vegamour offers hair and scalp care products, including its GRO Hair Serum, shampoos, conditioners and supplements. The brand has built its positioning around plant-based ingredients, biotechnology, and solutions for hair growth and scalp health.
