Australian functional CPG brand Zuum has expanded its functional chewing gum portfolio with the launch of Extra Strength Strawberry.
The new offering joins the company’s existing Performance Energy Gum lineup, including Cool Mint, Extra Strength Arctic Mint, Spearmint and Watermelon, which launched at 7-Eleven in 2024.
The release marks the first of 10 new product debuts scheduled for the second half of this year as it accelerates retail expansion domestically and internationally.
Formulated without sugar and sweetened with xylitol, each piece of Extra Strength Strawberry contains 60mg of caffeine and 60mg of taurine, supplemented with vitamins B5 and B6.
According to company specifications, the product delivers caffeine equivalent to ten standard energy drinks, positioning the format as a compact, cost-effective alternative to liquid energy beverages.
With HASTA certification, the brand’s energy gum range has gained traction within elite Australian sports, integrated into training regimes across 14 AFL clubs, nine NRL teams, and several Olympic athletes.
Extra Strength Strawberry is available on Zuum’s website, with physical retail stock scheduled to roll out to Chemist Warehouse nationwide in the coming weeks.
