Zuum adds clean caffeine to Australia’s electrolyte boom

Australian sports nutrition brand Zuum has expanded its product line by introducing an Energy Powders range that combines caffeine and electrolytes in a single sachet.

The range includes two formulations designed for different performance needs. The company says Everyday Energy Powder contains 60mg of caffeine and electrolytes such as magnesium, potassium, and sodium.

Built for higher-impact training, Performance Energy Powder offers 120mg of caffeine, B vitamins, amino acids like taurine and glycine, and an electrolyte profile consisting of 70mg of calcium, 80mg of magnesium, 250mg of potassium, and 500mg of sodium.

Both options are low in sugar and calories, free from artificial colours, flavours, or sweeteners, and incorporate organic salts sourced from Lake Deborah in WA alongside coconut water powder.

“Electrolytes have gone mainstream, but until now you’ve had to choose: hydrate with one product, then reach for a coffee or an energy drink for the boost,” said Hugo Gray, co-founder of Zuum.

“There’s nothing else on the market that blends electrolytes with caffeine, so we made it. Our powders are designed to energise and hydrate you at the same time, in one sachet, with naturally low sugar and nothing artificial,” said Gray.

The powders are sold in packs of 30 sachets priced at $2.80 per sachet, and are available online in six flavours.

The rollout follows its recent launch of Zuum’s energy gum in Strawberry Extra Strength flavour, as part of the brand’s upcoming releases this year.
