Suntory Oceania has partnered with the Dylan Alcott Foundation and Recreate NZ to support young adults living with disabilities, pledging more than $450,000 over three years across the two countries.
The investment will fund programmes focused on building independence, developing skills, and providing pathways into education and employment.
“At Suntory, our purpose has always been grounded in giving back to society,” said Dai Minato, CEO of Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania.
“We hope to grow together, supporting programmes that build real-world skills, confidence, and community connection.”
In Australia, the partnership with the Dylan Alcott Foundation will support initiatives across sport, education, and vocational training, as well as targeted grants for individuals.
Suntory will also join the foundation’s Shift 20 Initiative as a silver member, which promotes disability representation in advertising.
Dylan Alcott, founder of the Dylan Alcott Foundation, said the partnership would help expand opportunities for young people with disabilities.
“Creating inclusive communities for people with disabilities takes long-term commitment and genuine action,” remarked Alcott.
“Suntory Oceania’s investment will help young people with disabilities build confidence, independence and a future full of possibilities.”
Meanwhile, in New Zealand, Suntory will support Recreate NZ’s programs, including its youth board leadership initiative, life-skills training, and work-experience placements.
“We are honoured that Suntory Oceania recognise and values the work we put in to create more programmes that build independence, confidence and vocational opportunities,” added Brent Jenkins, GM of Recreate NZ.
